Headstart Group is a new children’s residential care provider based in Bedford, preparing our first small home for Ofsted registration. We offer a therapeutic, family-style environment for children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Our model is built around safety, predictability and meaningful relationships, helping children to regulate, reflect and grow.
We are developing a small home with a low number of placements, so staff have time to build trust and provide consistent, attuned care.
Headstart Group is working towards Ofsted registration and will operate in line with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Many of the children we support will have experienced trauma, disrupted attachments and multiple moves. We believe that stability, warmth and clear boundaries give children the best chance to rebuild trust and thrive.
We welcome enquiries from commissioners and social workers who are looking for a small, stable home in Bedfordshire for children and young people aged 7–17 with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
