Current vacancy: Registered Manager

Location: Bedford

Service: Children’s residential home (up to 3 children, ages 7–17)

Hours: Full-time

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to open and lead our first children’s home. This is an opportunity to shape a new service and influence how we support children from day one.

  • Hold responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home.
  • Provide strong, visible leadership to the staff team.
  • Promote a culture of safety, learning and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulations, quality standards and Ofsted requirements.

About you

  • Experience managing, or deputising in, a children’s home.
  • Good understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Committed to trauma-informed, child-centred practice.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to work towards).
